KENTUCKY KINGDOM EXPANDS POPULAR FALL EVENT

Louisville, KY—September 18, 2024— With the official start to fall nearly here, Kentucky Kingdom proudly announces that, due to popular demand, the third annual Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom will return on October 3 with even more operating days. This joyful family-fun fall spectacular event will now run Thursday through Sunday every week in October. As an extra treat for guests, this year’s event will include even more activities and all the treats you can eat, including the famous cinnamon bread and free candy. 

This unique day-to-night experience brings glow-in-the-dark to a whole new level. Guests will be treated to later hours than the regular season to see the night lit up with 1,000 giant illuminated pumpkins and four larger-than-life sculptures up to 12 feet tall. Experience the glow with over a dozen unique fall photo opportunities, or ride one of the park’s five world-class roller coasters to see the bright lights from the sky.

NEW & EXCITING ACTIVITIES

• Expanded days of operation – Now running Thursday through Sunday, all of October.
• More trick-or-treat stations – Kids can dress up in their favorite costumes, pick up a trick-or-treat bag, and collect free candy throughout the park!
• Pumpkin Rumble Game Show – Join the hosts on stage to compete for special prizes.
• Pumpkins Meal Plan – Savor all your favorite fall flavors and save up to $15 as you taste your way around the park.

RETURNING FAVORITES

Navigate the twists and turns of the Hay Maze or enjoy Tin Lizzie’s Glow Ride. The Pumpkin Parade, mesmerizing magician performances, live music, stilt walkers, and family dance parties are also returning this year. Not to be forgotten is the park’s mouth-watering fall-themed treats only available during this event. Stop by Casa Mia or Auntie B’s to treat yourself to a Pulled Pork Sandwich, BBQ Baked Potato, or Maple Bacon Pecan Funnel Cake topped with ice cream.
