LOUISVILLE, KY (December 25, 2024) -- This Christmas, Kentucky Kingdom Theme & Water Park is giving its fans, guests, and the community a holiday gift to remember for years to come. Today, the park is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new family-themed land, set to debut in May 2025.
Focused on celebrating the beauty and spirit of the Bluegrass with a Kentucky twist, this exciting addition will feature new rides, attractions and dining options that promise fun for every member of the family.
Highlights of the New Land:
This new land represents an $11 million commitment to delivering unforgettable family experiences that will Create Memories Worth Repeating®. This is the first part of Kentucky Kingdom’s $25 million investment over the next two seasons. That means more announcements for families and thrill-seekers alike are on the way.

Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom Continues!
The holiday fun doesn’t stop at Christmas! Guests still have time to experience Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom, with sparkling lights, festive activities, and family fun continuing daily through January 4, 2025.
Don’t miss the special New Year’s Eve fireworks show—perfectly timed for families to enjoy at 7:45 p.m.
This spectacular display is included with park admission or a season pass. Season passes purchased now offer unlimited park visits for the remainder of 2024 and the entire 2025 season. Season Passholders will also be the first to hear details about the new rides and attractions coming in 2025 and 2026.
